Club time...

I've been busy getting things ready for a few upcoming workshops and club meetings. I had a special request for a placecard holder for Thanksgiving. So, I found something on Splitcoast and cased it! I think it turned out quite cute!

My club is made of all teachers. During October, we "Boo" others with candy and so I thought it would be fun to make cute "BOo Bags" for them to give away. Loving my new Top Note Die!

And we always make a card. This is one of my favorite sets called Falling Leaves. As much as I love Fall, you'd think I was from somewhere that actually had a fall. Nope, not here in South Texas. Our leaves turn right about Christmas time and then come back mid February! Oh well, I'll live through the ink!! LOL!

I used one of Stampin Up's Texturz plates in my Big Shot.

Stop back for some of my door prized. I've been working on some cute things!

The last few....

Last but not least...

Here are the rest of my projects from last Saturday.

This is a scraplift. I don't like it as much as the original, but "its done."
This is the final project of the photo mat Fast Scrap. I love the simpleness of it because it doesnt take away from the pictures. I love these pictures and didn't want to ruin them. this LO has no pattern paper which is RARE for me since I am such a paper addict! But I love it! Nice to step out of my box sometimes.

This one is cute, but missing something big time. I need to revisit it. Ribbon maybe???

I love this card. Its the Dasher set from SU and I used copper embossing powder. I meant to add some red jewels in the antlers but forgot. This might be one of my club cards.

I love that this LO is girly even though its my doughters shooting the gun with Daddy. SO funny because they are so girly and he is so not. I think I captured the right essence!

I wanted the title to be something like (Not So )Sweet but didnt have enough letters! LOL! SO I went with sweet instead. I embossed the cardstock and added black rain drops for the seed look.
Thanks for stoping by! I have a Stamp Camb Thursday and Friday, so I won't be back for a few days. I have some ideas for Christmas cards that I hopefully will get to this weekend. Stay Tuned!!!!

A few more...

This card was a lift from splitcoast. I had to make and use an inchie, so i made Frank here. I used my curly label punch and American Crafts PP.

This is my favorite page of the day. It was a sketch challenge. I used alot of purple and skulls for some reason this weekend! I never use purple!

A sketch challenge... I still need DD to fill in the journaling.

A fast scrap card.

Check back tomorrow!

PPA8

This week at Paper Pal Arts, the challenge is: KISS, Keep It Simple, Sweetie!
Clean with lots of 'white' space
Simple Designs
Minimum time to create
Limited layers and embellishments
Here is my try. I don't do simple very well! LOL!

Crop Weekend!

This weekend was ASP crop. I had a couple of friends over and we cropped all day on Saturday. It was lots of fun! I don' tknow hoe many pages or cards I did, but I would venture to guess between 10-15 all together.

I will post them over the next few days. So, you'll have to come back to see them all!

This was a Fast Scrap. We had to make a photo mat with 3 embelishments. I used a title, twine and shells. This page is made entirely by a "Happy Mail" swap sent to me by Jodie. Thanks Jodie! Its perfect! I love the embossed hearts alot!
This was a scraplift. I'm not thrilled with it because I loved the pictures and I dont think it really makes them look great. Oh well... its done...

This was another Fast Scrap. We had to make a tag that included the color red. I used my new Big Shot and Top Note die. Love that shape! I also used my hostess set called Patterned Pines and the entiment is from the set called Four the Holidays. (Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Old Olive.)

I rearranged my dining room so Katie and Kelli could each have their own table. It worked out really well. Between the three of us, we had a ton of tools. I also had two other friends, Jessica and Christina, come over for a few hours. We squeezed them in somehow. It was so much fun. Wish we could do it all the time!

After 12 hours of scrapping! Yikes! LOL!

Check back tomorrow for more LOs!

PPA7- a Simple Sketch

I'm in a Christmas mood! I hate when it come early, because that means when December finally does get here, I am so over Christmas by then! LOL!

I wanted to play along with the Paper Pal Arts challenge this week, so I pulled out all my new Christmas Stampin' Up goodies to make a few club project prototypes. I also bought these tiny jinglebells at a craft store and really wanted to use them!

This is the new stamp set in the mini called Delightful Decorations, as well as the new Ornament Punch (love it!!) I also used the DSP called Merry Moments and the stamp set called Four the Holidays for the sentiment. I also used my crimper on the green strip, but its hard to see. Colors are Real Red and Old Olive

I did a second card to go with the sketch a PPA. I could get anything to work with this PP, so I just punched the PP and popped it up. I also used Dazzling Diamons for some bling. Punches used are scallop oval, scallor border, eyelet border.

To order any of these items, visit my Stampin Up websight.

Thanks for stoping by! Come back in a few days! My new Big Shot is arriving tomorrow, so I know I will be busy this week with all my fun stuff!

A Scrappy Blog Hop! Stamping on Scrapbook Pages

Its time for another Blog Hop! All my friends at A Scrappy Place have joined together this time for another challenge.

This month, we are stamping on out scrapbook pages. I have alot of stamps. And I use alot of stamps. Just not on my SB pages! I kind of forget about them when I am scrapping and tend to only use regular embelies. So, this time I got some of my new Stampin' Up sets and got to work. I ended up with two pages that I love!

This is one of my favorite pages I have ever done! And I have to give credit where credit is due, its a lift of someon on twopeas. But, I still love it!

I used the twig from the Always set and stamped the back circle with Basic Black ink to make my own pattern paper. Then I used my circle punch and made the scallop border. I layered my paper and added several swap items. Last, I used Circle Circus and Basic Black to stamp a few more embelies on some scrap kraft paper. I pop-dotted them to give some dimesion. I used some red twine to tie off the scallop holes.

This page is based on a sketch from... no idea. LOL! It was in my file! Iused the new stamp set called Falling Leaves and retired Red Riding Hood ink and current in color Crushed Curry. I am feeling very fallish this week! Its only 93 degrees in the afternoon, so it feels like fall! Ha! ;-)

I stamped directly on the paper in a cascading pattern and then again stamped on kraft paper (my new obsession), used my 1" circle punch and popped those leaves up. I love how it gives the fallish feel to this Back to School LO. And don't you just LOVE those new Thickers! They look like varsity letters! I also used scrabble tiles I bought at a grage sale. So fun!

The report card was in an embelishment pack I got at a LSS. I thought it was perfect!

I love the look of mixed alphas on a page.

I sure wish our leaves looked like this right now! Ours just look crispy and brown from the record heat and drought we had all summer... Oh well, at least I have ink to make pretty leaves!

Now, hop on over to my friend Bonnie's blog to see how she used stamps on her LO! Thanks for stopping by!

Hostess Club

I'm having my first Stampin' Up Hostess Club on Wednesday! I had such a hard time narrowing down my prjects because there is so much I want to do! I may be trying to do too much, but we'll see!

My favorite is the little broom candy holder. It has candy inside and a twig from the back yard as the handle. It uses a new Halloween set called Scary Skeleton, as well as the window sheet from the new Halloween paper set in the Mini Catalog called Night and Day (I think!).

The lolipop uses the brand new Sweet Centers set as well as the new colors Razzleberry and Dusty Durango. I love these little cups and they are pretty cheap! I am going to use these alot I can already tell!

And ofcourse, my favorite stamp set right now is Circle Circus. Iused it on the card with new in color DSP and Razzleberry, Crushed Curry andd Melon Mambo colors. If your interested in any of these items, you can order them here.
Here is a closer look at the lolipop. I think this will be a huge hit!

I made a few door prizes as well. I cased these from Chic N' Scratch. Love them!

Frank has a Kit Kat and Dracula has gum (of course!)

I also made these bookmarks for my club members. I hope they come in handy! They have post it notes to mark the pages. Again, using all new in colors and Circle Circus.

If your interested in joining a Hostess Club, please email me (tnecerwin@yahoo.com!) I am in San Antonio and am looking for stampers to join another one!

Check back on Wednesday for a new ASP Blog Hop! I have a wonderful LO to show. It is up there in the "My Favorite LOs ever" category!

Happy Labor Day!

PPA Challenge #6

I am really enjoying the new Stampin Up Challenge Blog over at Paper Pal Arts. As you know, I am a new SU Demo and I am always looking for ideas. This blog gives me ideas for sets and paper I have as well as gets me to use them! So, thanks ladies!

This week's challenge is to use these 3 colors

http://stampinpretty.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54f95df9288340120a533eb7d970b-pi

I didnt have exact matches, but I came close. I used my new Falling Leaves Stamp Set which I love. I think these colors go well together and do look fallish paired with the brown ribbon.

I also used my SU texture plates and I tried spritzing them with water like I have been reading. Since I am using them in the Cuttlebug, I've been having some trouble getting a crisp image, and I thought it was the CB. But, I did try the water and some extra shims and it seemed to do the trick. I love texture!
And I must mention this is a total lift off of someone over at SCS. I just used differnt colors! ;-) I might demo this card in October....Its simple and cute and uses several tools.

PPA Challenge # 5

There is a great new challenge blog called Paper Pal Arts. They do a challenge each week and the deigners all use Stampin Up supplies. I love it and it really inspires me to use my "Stuff" like this new stamp set from the mini catalog.
These little "Witch Brooms are going to be one of the projects we make at my Hostess Club next week. They are just tiny brown lunch sacks, one inside to hold the candy one outside cut down to the bottom. Tied with Pumpin Pie striped ribbon. Pumpkin Pie scallop, clear windo sheet from the new Night and Day DSP, and the then adorable skelleton and bat from .... I can't remember the name of the set... Will come back in a bit to post it.

Not a great picture, but you get the idea. My girls are going to love this!
