HSS #86- It's Halloween Time!

Finally a Halloween challenge! I've been using my Halloween stuff for weeks just itching for a Halloween challenge! Yay! This week Hand Stamped Sentiments rolls out the Halloween orange carpet for all us over achievers!
I bought this paper mache hat from a local craft store in the summer. It has been sitting on my shelf for months. Then, recently, i found some cute witchy glass bottles and decided to make a witch display at home and knew this hat would be perfect in the  Witch Montage!
I covered the bottom with some Concord Crush colored DSP and then used some left over Presto Patterns (retired) and Concord Crush to cover the top. I gathered yards and yards of Rich Razzleberry Ribbon next and layered it over a purple boa.  I felt like it was missing something, so, I made a tag!
Stamps: Wicked Cool, Jack of All Trades, Good Grid.  Fiber is Concord Crush Poly Ribbon pulled apart.

And here is my display. It looks way better in person. this picture doesn't really make it look all that great! LOL! It really does flow better in person!
Now get busy makin' something for Halloween! It's time to get those decorations out, so why don't you make something new to add to your house! Make sure you link back with us a HSS so we can see what you come up with!

Happy Stampin'!

Perk Up!-Mojo and CTD

I gave the MOJO challenge a try this weekend as well as the Color Throwdown!

I love pink and brown. My middle daughter's nursery were these exact colors! So, I was excited to give this one a go. I pulled out the beautiful DSP called Mocha Morning Specialty. Love, love, LOVE this paper. Soft Suede is so rich and beautiful and this DSP really showcases that. Stamps are from Morning Cup. The pink is Regal Rose DSP.

Last call for Saturday's Stamp Camp. If your interested in a "To Go" Pack, we have a few of those available too! Let me know!

Circle Circus Full Moon

Let's see if I can get this post done before the electricity goes out! We've got a great storm going right now which is sight for sore eyes in our drought!

Today's card was inspired by the Paper Players Challenge (animals!), Color Lab Color Challenge (I did throw in a tiny bit of orange) and the Sweet Sunday Sketch.

I again created a spooky moon using a stamp from Circle Circus. The circle itself was cut with the Big Shot and the 3 1/2" circle die.

I've been on a little bit of a pennant hiatus lately, so I brought my favorite punch ever made out (The Pennant Punch) and made this spooky bat banner. Ink and paper include Lucky Limeade, Concord Crush and Pumpkin Pie. The gird paper is from the fabulous Tickets and Tags Simply Scrapin' kit. Stamps set is Out on a Limb.

Have a great Thursday!

Club Project

This month my club girl's are playing with the new It's a Wrap Holiday's set. These stamps fit on a label and then wrap around a Hersey Nugget! So cute. So easy!

Using the Two Tags Die, we made a simple little holder. We used the Gently Falling and Spice Cake DSP and Designer Fabric, we added a little tag. The tiny sentiment is from Tiny Tags. SImple little gift for someone you appreciate.

Need another reason to register for Stamp Camp on October 1st? How about some OVER the TOP gift Tags?? This is one of 5!

Have a great Thursday!

Lunch Love Notes

Once again, I was inspired by Pinterest this week. I found these cute lunch box jokes for my 3rd grader. But, when I printed them out, they were so drab and boring! I had to jazz them up!

My daughter totally digs crafty things like me, so I knew she would love thees jokes on a stick!  On the back I wrote a little note so each day I just grab one and throw it in.

I used the new Peek A Boo Die for the joke/answer.
Lots of Big Top DSP Scraps.
And some stickers from the Big Top Birthday Quick Accents.

I couldn't wait to hear what she had to say! I knew she was just going to love telling her friends a new joke every day. But, two days of "totally cute-over the top-your mom rocks- joke lollipops" and.... not a word from the kid. Hmmmm... guess I got a little too excited. They are probably all in the garbage with out a second though. Oh well. At least I get to show them to you guys. I know you'll appreciate them! :-)

Need another reason to register for the Holiday Stamp Camp? How about some glitter paper???

Fall Shaker- Hand Stamped Sentiments #84

I love September. It's the first hint that change is coming. It's the prelude to all things pumpkins, fall leaves and cooler temps! This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments, we've taken the jump into fall!

I took the opportunity to use Stampin' Up's new Shaker Frames. they come in all sizes, and the smaller ones are all I have left. I needed to put them to good use. So, I pulled out my favorite guy, Pumpkin Jack!

Ink and Paper: Spice Cake DSP, Early Espresso, More Mustard, Peach Parfait
Other: 1" Circle Punch, Window Sheets, Shaker Frames, Early Espresso Quilted Ribbon, glass beads

So, what do you have going in your stamp space this week? I bet you've got something Fall-ish on tap. Come back and link up to us and show us the beautiful things your creating!

Scrapbook Satruday!

I'm cheating. Sorry Club girls. I will have a new page soon. Promise!
This page is this month's Scrapbook Club Page. I tend to do lots of girly things. (I do have 3 girls after all!) And, I have a hard time not including ribbon, and usually a bow, to every project I make.  So, in honor of all my friends who have only boys, I went totally GRUNGE this month.
And I liked it!

This page looked simple, but really was quite involved. Each square of Well Worn DSP was distressed using the SU Distressing Kit. I used this at Convention and LOVED it so I had to share it with my club girls. It's so much fun to play with!
We used the Daring Adventure stamp set, Wood grain background stamp and the Good Grid background stamp. Lots of sanding, tearing, inking and crumpling (is that a word?)
We used the new shaker frames to make  dirty shaker tag (yes, I put dirt in my shaker tag!!)
We also used the Texture Wheel. Glad I have a grungy hubby to put on my dirty page! Ha! It was fun to break away from the norm.

See ya tomorrow!
