Coffee Break Chocolate Treats Video Tutorial

Hello everyone! I've got a new tutorial for you today that features a coffee flavored chocolate. It's the same chocolate I used in the super cute treats I showed on my Facebook Group last week. I included them in my Coffee Break Class to Go as a thank you.

Unfortunately, I've realized they are very hard to find. They are actually made by our local (Texas) grocery store called HEB. So, for those of you who have access to HEB, these will be great for you. If that's not you, I think these could easily be adapted to use a Giradeli Chocolate square.

My color scheme was based on the packaging on the little chocolates- Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso.  I also used the copper trim that you can find in the Annual Catalog. Barely visible behind the coffee cup is the Coffee Break DSP.

In the video below, you will find the full details on the chocolate. Here is package so you can see it's a flat chocolate square.

Now, I originally started making these for my downline meeting. I was going to use them as my swaps. But then...

I got my Holiday Catalog preorder in and just HAD to use the new coffee stamp set called Merry Cafe (it coordinates with the same framelits and is a great addition to that bundle if you already have it!) along with the new DSP called Painted Autumn.

They're made the exact same way, except I used the larger coffee cup this time. I used two different ribbons also. Here, I used Peekaboo Peach Striped Ribbon.

I didn't have enough of the Peekaboo Ribbon for all of them, so I also used the Pumpkin Pie Stitched Ribbon. I also added a piece of a coffee stir stick to each cup. Just snipped off the ends and added them with a glue dot!

Now, you can find the full details for the first project in the video below. I made the video before I made the second version of these so you will only see the first sample in the video. The  products in the fall coffee treat won't be available until September 1st- unless you purchase the Starter Kit! Everyone who purchases a Starter Kit in August can choose form the Holiday Catalog as well!
